- ➤ Sheridan Community Land Trust is preserving local heritage with its Telling Our Stories oral history project – inviting residents to share personal histories that add context to its popular Explore History tours – according to History Program Manager Kevin Knapp. City of Sheridan

- ➤ The Cowboy Carousel Discovery Center is hosting auditions for performers ages 5 to 17 for its spring production of The Wizard of Oz at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center (no prior experience is needed and early five-minute audition appointments are available by calling 307-620-2244). - ➤ Sheridan native Luke Knudson — the restoration expert — transformed a forgotten 1915 Arts & Crafts bungalow into a national showcase of historic preservation, earning recognition in the Old House Journal. His work inspires local efforts to preserve heritage. Wyoming Tribune Eagle
- ➤ The Museum at the Bighorns now shows Transitions of the Landscape – a new exhibit with Jessamine Spear Johnson’s photos from the 1926 anniversary events of the Battle – after a Jan. 2 Members Morning preview, and it will run until June 28 as part of the 150th-anniversary commemoration. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has opened applications for nine summer camps at Whiskey Mountain Conservation Camp near Dubois. Programs include overnight family, youth, and adult camps with hands-on outdoor activities and will start in June. City of Sheridan

- ➤ On Saturday, Jan. 3, 29 local runners joined the 10th+annual Resolution Run 5k at the Sheridan Recreation District, marking an active start to the New Year. Sheridan Media
