Sheridan Community Land Trust is preserving local heritage with its Telling Our Stories oral history project – inviting residents to share personal histories that add context to its popular Explore History tours – according to History Program Manager Kevin Knapp.

The Cowboy Carousel Discovery Center is hosting auditions for performers ages 5 to 17 for its spring production of The Wizard of Oz at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center (no prior experience is needed and early five-minute audition appointments are available by calling 307-620-2244).

Sheridan native Luke Knudson — the restoration expert — transformed a forgotten 1915 Arts & Crafts bungalow into a national showcase of historic preservation, earning recognition in the Old House Journal.
