- ➤ Young Native American riders from Sheridan commemorated the Fetterman battle’s anniversary by riding 18 miles from the county fairgrounds to the battlefield on Dec. 21, 2025. They left at 8:30 a.m. + completed the ride in just over six hours. Sheridan Media

- ➤ Museum at the Bighorns will host its first Family Day at its new 171 N. Main St. location on Friday, Jan. 2, 2026. The event will offer free kids and family activities including animal displays and interactive puzzles from local partners. Sheridan Media
