- ➤ At the recent Christmas Stroll, Museum Director Carrie Edinger unveiled the floor plan and exhibit concepts for the Museum of the Bighorns, which will feature local commerce, ranching history, and a Smithsonian (traveling exhibit). The museum will expand summer hours to welcome more visitors. Sheridan Media
- ➤ Columnist Bill Sniffin reflects on today being the winter solstice, the shortest day when winter begins; he notes that although days will slowly lengthen, lingering icy conditions challenge neighbors and remind everyone to reach out to those in need. Cowboy State Daily
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ On Dec. 17, the SCSD#3 Board held a session on the mandatory House System at Clearmont School (about 50 attendees) where feedback included both concerns and praise. The board will have a special meeting and executive session today at 1 p.m. to discuss next steps. City of Sheridan
