  • Avid hunter Shawn Sanchez launched Buck N Bull Skulls to offer 3D printed skulls for trophy mounts to local hunters — an innovation that avoids time-consuming skull preparation and is now undergoing safety tests for supporting moose antlers in Wyoming.  Cowboy State Daily

CULTURE NEWS

  • Natural History Museum of Wyoming Executive Director Thomas Hebert partners with Sheridan Community Land Trust to present Explore History: Unearthing Tribal Stories — a free event on Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 10 a.m. at The Hub on Smith that highlights paleontological work with Indigenous tribes and tangible fossil preservation.  City of Sheridan
  • In the late 1800s, surveyor Edward Gillette rerouted a rail line near Donkey Creek, saving money and prompting a Wyoming town to be named after him. He later settled in Sheridan and served as state treasurer.  Cowboy State Daily
  • A WWI flag was reunited with its local surviving heir after 107 years, marking a notable preservation of our community’s heritage. This reunion connects Sheridan residents with a century-old legacy.  Casper Star-Tribune
