- ➤ Recreation District Director Alex Mock announced Co-Create Sessions at Fulmer Public Library that invite community members to help set program goals. - ➤ At Big Horn High School's gym, elementary students sang with holiday joy during the annual Christmas concert (A Holiday of Music) that brought local cheer to the community. The Sheridan Press
- ➤ Thomas Hebert, the Natural History Museum of Wyoming director, partners with Sheridan Community Land Trust to lead Explore History: Unearthing Tribal Stories, Dinosaurs, Tribal Knowledge, and Shared History. - ➤ On Dec. 10, students led a presentation to the SCSD#3 Board about core house values at the school. The board re-elected officers, approved hiring for new positions + set a community lunch for Jan. 7 at 11:30 a.m. Sheridan Media

- ➤ The Sheridan County Conservation District said damage to ranches, homes and surface water linked to flooding and debris flows from the Elk Fire remains a concern as recovery efforts are underway. The Sheridan Press

- ➤ The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking seasonal staff for 2026, including fisheries biologist technician positions in Sheridan and game warden openings requiring a bachelor's degree; roles run four to six months starting in April or May as the department adds new jobs online (full details on its website).
