  • The 30th annual Christmas Stroll will take place the day after Thanksgiving in Sheridan County—continuing a 30-year tradition of festive celebrations that bring together locals and visitors.  The Sheridan Press
  • Sheridan is featured in AARP’s new episode 'Small Town Cool in the Bighorn Mountains,' which highlights the town’s livability for residents age 50 and older — the episode spotlights Soldier Ridge Trail and local partners including The Brinton Museum, Rooted in Wyoming and The Hub on Smith. AARP host Patty Kim said the community scored high for clean air, clean water and outdoor access, and longtime volunteer Steve Stresky leads local geology hikes.  Sheridan Media
  • The Brinton Museum Store will host its ninth annual Museum Store Sunday open house on November 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering door prizes, giveaways and one-day specials — Black Mountain Coffee is sponsoring a pour-over coffee station with a sweet treats bar. Shoppers can also enjoy holiday specials through December and visit the Handmade for The Holidays Local Artist Pop-Up Shop Series on November 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Sheridan Media

  • Small Business Saturday is an annual event coming this weekend that invites local shoppers to support independent stores—using tools like the American Express Shop Small directory—and local businesses in Sheridan will offer exclusive deals and pop-up markets to boost community spending. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • WYDOT will close US Highway 14A from milepost 98.1 to 76.04 on December 1st at noon as heavy snow and low traffic make plowing impractical+ officials advise drivers to check road conditions before traveling. The 22-mile stretch is set to reopen around Memorial Day while US Highway 14 over Granite Pass stays open.  City of Sheridan
