- ➤ On Dec. 1, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department will hold a public meeting in the Sheridan region to gather input and answer questions about proposed changes to black bear hunting seasons. The Sheridan Press
- ➤ Governor Mark Gordon ended Public Welfare Emergency Executive Order 2025-08 on November 19, stopping a two-week food subsidy program for food banks and pantries when SNAP benefits paused—DFS will provide a full report of funds used by mid December. Sheridan Media
- ➤ Earlier this fall, the Sheridan-Johnson Critical Air Service Team (CAST) announced that SkyWest will soon operate an extra roundtrip CRJ 200 flight to Denver during Thanksgiving to meet local demand; on November 19, airport manager Robert Gill noted that despite a government shutdown (resolved November 12), the load factor has remained steady.
