COMMUNITY NEWS
- ➤ Sheridan Memorial Hospital is hosting two community forums to discuss a potential affiliation with Billings Clinic; one is today from noon to 1 p.m. at the Center for a Vital Community at 245 South Broadway Street and the other is on November 7 from noon to 1 p.m. at its Outpatient Center—hospital officials say the plan is in early stages and will need approval by the Hospital Board and Sheridan County Commissioners. - ➤ The Hub on Smith will host a breakfast for veterans on Veterans Day, Nov. 11—staff plan to honor local service members in Sheridan. The Sheridan Press
- ➤ On November 9 at 2:00 p.m., H.B. Puckett will speak on General Washington’s Spy Ring at Kearney Community Hall—Sonny Reisch will follow with a presentation on Civil War espionage and a period uniform exhibit will be shown alongside a silent auction benefiting the event hosts. Sheridan Media
- ➤ The Sheridan Community Foundation announced plans to grow its $2.5 million fund and create more ways for people to give back—aiming to build lasting local support. The Sheridan Press
- ➤ The Sheridan County YMCA has acquired the Kidslife building to boost programs for children and families in the area. Both organizations plan to expand community services in the coming months. The Sheridan Press
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Sheridan-based artists Ashley Cooper and Nicky Swenson invite locals to the Best of the Bighorns art exhibit on Saturday, Nov.15 from 2 to 6 p.m. at 415 N. Main St — the exhibit grew from an award they received and will benefit the nonprofit Bought Beautifully. Sheridan Media
- ➤ Hub on Smith directors Suzie Hills and Ryan Koltiska announced The Liberty Concert, a musical celebration of freedom on Veterans Day, will be held at the WYO Theater. Two free shows are set for 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and tickets must be reserved through the theater box office. Sheridan Media

- ➤ Average gasoline prices in Wyoming fell by nearly one cent in the past week—GasBuddy.com's survey of 494 stations shows prices averaging $2.85 per gallon Monday, which may offer drivers a small break at the pump. Wyoming Tribune Eagle
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Sheridan High School’s Fall Drama Club will present two showcases of monologues, scenes, songs and one-act plays at 7 p.m. November 13th and 14th in the Sue Henry Auditorium—each act serving as a preview for the state festival in early December while donations help fund travel. Sheridan Media

- ➤ A poll released on October 27th asked 743 voters what they fear most as 227 (31%) chose 'I Fear Nothing' while 123 voted for corrupt government officials, 107 for loss of democracy, 93 for economic collapse, 86 for rising healthcare costs, 54 for political polarization, and 53 for another world war.
