- ➤ Ucross Foundation announced its Community Christmas Celebration will be held on Dec. 13 at the Raymond Plank Center starting at 4 p.m.—the event will include local music, caroling, a special reading, crafts, and seasonal treats. Families are invited to bring canned donations and enjoy fireworks and cannon fire as the Park at Ucross lights up for the evening. City of Sheridan
- ➤ Bill Bensel and Gina Donnor of the Tongue River Pathways Board announced on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse that six miles of an ADA-compliant trail linking Dayton and Ranchester will soon open with an official ceremony on Nov. 22. The board set an endowment to maintain the trail during winter — residents are invited to use the path while weather permits further completion. Sheridan Media
- ➤ On Oct. 29, Habitat of the Eastern Bighorns joined the first Rural Rally at Weston Village to honor the Carters and celebrate 30 years of building affordable homes while community leaders attended a free breakfast, keynote, and panel discussion. Next year the group will build 122 homes with some already occupied or under contract—and all houses will be finished by December 2026. Sheridan Media
- ➤ The Annual Fall 14-16 Shop Hop will be held on November 7 and 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Clearmont+ returning vendors include Vintiques of Wyoming, Weeping Willow Designs, A&R Inspirations, JuneBugs Gifts, and Ranger the Rock Trader. Special classes include a $40 Best in Bloom Fall Bouquet session on November 8 from 10 until noon and a fall-themed wind chime workshop for ages 3-10 at 10 a.m.+ lunch will be offered at the Clearmont Community Church from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sheridan Media

- ➤ Today, Sheridan residents celebrate Halloween by dressing up, carving pumpkins, and going Trick or Treat—a custom that dates back to before Wyoming became a state. - ➤ Wyoming's record investment earnings reached $1.86 billion in fiscal year 2025 and beat forecasts by outpacing both severance taxes and mineral royalties, the CREG report showed.
