- ➤ The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce welcomed new member Koltiska Ground Works during its ribbon cutting Tuesday, Oct. 21. The company at 126 S. Thurmond provides year-round mowing, landscaping, hardscaping, excavation, trenching and snow removal in the area — focusing on quality service. Sheridan Media
- ➤ At Sheridan City Hall on October 21, Mayor Rich Bridger, Christmas Stroll Committee Chair Robby Smith and Chamber CEO Teresa Detimore announced that Anwynn Fack—with input from Sheridan County students in grades 1 through 6—won the 30th annual Christmas Stroll Button Design Contest and received $100 in Chamber Bucks along with a framed design that will be displayed at Main Frame during the holiday season. - ➤ The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce welcomed new member Arrowhead Lodge on Oct. 17 during an Ambassadors’ ribbon cutting at 6002 U.S. Hwy 14 east of Burgess Junction — the property offers a lounge, restaurant, motel suites, 20 cabins and 45 RV spaces and was recently purchased by Tracey Woehrle. - ➤ The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce celebrated the name change from Knecht Home Center to Mead Lumber with a ribbon cutting on Friday, Oct. 17—marking a new chapter for the trusted local supplier. Mead Lumber, acquired in 2006 and rebranded in 2023—located at 1836 S. Sheridan Ave, now supports contractors with expert guidance for construction projects. Sheridan Media

- ➤ Sheridan Kalif Shriners Joe Schwartz and Bill Rathburn invited residents to explore the Tunnel of Terror—an event that uses secret tunnels in the historic temple built in 1938—for a spooky fundraiser. Tickets cost $5 per person and $20 per family, and the event will open at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, Friday, Oct. 31, and Saturday, Nov. 1 in Sheridan. Sheridan Media
- ➤ Jentel Presents invites residents and visitors to meet the newest group of visual artists and writers in residence, with creative talents coming from across the country. - ➤ The Skyline Singers from Sheridan College will sing a concert of Wyoming and Montana-themed a cappella music at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at Kinnison Hall in the Whitney Center for the Arts.
