A new whiskey made from 100% Wyoming-grown emmer wheat debuted Saturday in Powell to revive an ancient grain and support local family farmers.

Nels Wroe of Dry Land Distillers teamed with the University of Wyoming’s Neolithic brand to produce this unique whiskey—priced at $129 a bottle—with strong local roots and ties to Sheridan.
