Sheridan County Commissioner Christi Haswell announced that a grant from the Wyoming State Trails Program funded the completion of a new obstacle course for ATVs, dirt bikes and side by sides at 3 Poles Recreation Area north of Sheridan.

Riders must follow ORV permit rules on enrolled roads and trails and obey closures during muddy weather.

Knecht Home Center changed its name to Mead Lumber on October 15 during a renaming event in Sheridan that included a ribbon cutting and updated store signage; the change took effect on October 16—employees said the store remains connected to ACE Hardware and is employee-owned.
