- ➤ On Thursday, September 11, 2025, a crowd gathered outside the Sheridan Fire-Rescue building on Scott Street to honor those lost in the 9-11 attacks— the memorial displays a piece of World Trade Center steel and 343 Maltese Crosses for fallen firefighters. Sheridan Media
- ➤ Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns executive director previewed the Wolf Creek Wrangle on Public Pulse. The race will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20 at Eaton’s Ranch in Wolf — offering multiple trail options with search and rescue support onsite. Sheridan Media

- ➤ Sheridan’s economic development over the past 20 years is seen as a model for other communities—officials noted that 29 grant and loan applications have brought about $88.2 million in investments, boosting jobs and growth. - ➤ Sheridan County Commissioners ratified a FLAP MOA for the Red Grade Road, Phase II project—committing to provide preliminary engineering, acquire rights-of-way and easements, and manage construction engineering and contracting.
