ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A University of Wyoming study found that mule deer in northeast Wyoming avoid areas where cheatgrass covers more than 13 percent of sagebrush lands and may lose over half of their good habitat in the next 20 years if the weed spreads unchecked—targeted treatment can reverse the trend. The research shows that active management may protect deer habitat and preserve wildlife for the future. Wyoming News Now
