- ➤ The Downtown Sheridan Association says Sheridan Uncorked 2025 will feature tastes of Sheridan from six local culinary artists—supporting projects like the 3rd Thursday Street Festival and Sheridan in Bloom. The festival will begin at 6 p.m. Sept. 13 on Grinnell Plaza with a VIP Champagne Hour from 5 to 6 p.m. on Verdello’s back patio. Sheridan Media

- ➤ The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce welcomed new member Northwestern Mutual — Dalton Haase with a ribbon cutting on Sept. 5. Haase, a financial advisor at 2 N Main St, Ste. #302, said his talks start with life, family, and goals. Sheridan Media

- ➤ State officials warned Wyoming legislators that many of the state's 1,471 regulated dams are in poor condition today and face mounting legal challenges and drought concerns—over 40% of low-hazard dams are rated poor. Lawmakers will address water supply issues and negotiate a framework deal with the U.S. Secretary of Interior by November 11. Cowboy State Daily
- ➤ The SHS Auditorium will host a Constitution Day Commemoration on September 17 at 6:30 p.m.—retired Wyoming Chief Justice Marilyn Kite will speak as We the People students showcase their government knowledge and the Daughters of the American Revolution join in with Constitution trivia to honor the 1787 signing. - ➤ Sheridan County Commissioners approved updating the Double Eagle Condominium Owners Association bylaws at the request of COMPASS Center for Families—since the original rules for six owners no longer match the current ownership of two.
