- ➤ A North Carolina climbing team summited Cloud Peak on Tuesday, August 26 and while setting up a high altitude camp, noticed a slight reflection near a ledge that led them to notify the sheriff’s office—prompting SAR teams to locate and recover Grant Gardner’s remains, with his case now transferred to the Big Horn County Coroner’s Office per state guidelines. - ➤ The Cowboy Carousel Discovery Center will present its fourth youth theater production, Annie Jr., featuring over 40 young artists from Johnson and Sheridan counties at Buffalo High School Auditorium — the show adapts the Broadway classic about an orphan's search for family and hope. Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, Sept 5 and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday — tickets will be available at the door at $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, and free for children under 3.
