The Advocacy and Resource Center in Sheridan provides free, confidential help to victims of violent crime in Sheridan County.
Over the last two months the center assisted 136 victims by offering crisis intervention + legal support and emergency shelter.
The Clearmont Historical Group held a meeting on Aug.
17 that raised $1,093.60 and met with school staff, and it will host a Thank-You BBQ on Sept. 13 at Branding Iron Park (volunteers needed) as it prepares fall events including a Fabric and Fiber Handwork Premiere show.

The American Heart Association + Helmsley Charitable Trust are set to improve treatment and support across our community.
Sheridan Veterans Affairs Health Care System officials will host a blood drive today — eligible donors are encouraged to help boost local blood supplies.
