- ➤ CHAPS announced its 6th Annual Veteran Retreat at Deer Haven from Aug. 22 to Aug. 24 for up to 15 veterans + the event offers free lodging, meals, and activities focused on connection and self-care, with registration closing on Aug. 9. Sheridan Media
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Wyoming Department of Transportation is finishing its 25-year plan and is asking residents to share ideas on how to use funds—options include maintaining roads and replacing bridges. The survey is open until Aug 9 and the plan will guide future projects as costs rise and fuel tax rates stay the same. Casper Star-Tribune
- ➤ At Monday night’s city council meeting, Sheridan approved an amendment to the EMS agreement that lets Wyoming Regional EMS add two new ambulances—City Attorney Brad Thimmesch said this change came after discussions among all parties earlier this year.
