- ➤ A trial for Johnson is scheduled later this year for the man accused of hitting and killing 65-year-old Julie Fitzsimons—he will face charges in 4th Judicial Circuit Court. The Sheridan Press
- ➤ Accused serial killer Clark Perry Baldwin died Friday morning in Tennessee after a heart attack—he had been convicted for a 1991 murder and was set to face trial in Sheridan and Sweetwater County for the deaths of two women linked by DNA. Cowboy State Daily

- ➤ The Museum at the Bighorns has opened Phase 1 on Main Street—while construction for Phase 2 begins at the historic Woolworth building downtown. The exhibit at 171 N. - ➤ Sheridan Community Land Trust restored native grasses at Big Goose Natural Area in 2023 by aerially applying the herbicide Rejuvra to treat invasive species + the project is scheduled for a follow-up treatment in 2026 with grazing deferments to help native vegetation recover for wildlife and livestock.
