- ➤ Sheridan’s Chamber of Commerce unveiled a new community map that shows parks, pathways, community land trust trailheads and local businesses. CEO Teresa Detimore and Program Development Director Kimberly Jacobson said on Public Pulse the map was created to address county growth and is available free at the Chamber office at 54 S. - ➤ Downtown Sheridan Association is hosting a professional polo event at the Flying H Polo Club with gates opening at 3 p.m. and the match set for 5 p.m. The event features kids’ foot races at 4 p.m.—long drive competitions, a Champagne Divot Stomp at halftime, and a $20 per car load fee with funds raised supporting downtown enhancement. - ➤ Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Boot Hill has served as security for the Sheridan WYO Rodeo for 25 years—marking his longstanding role in the annual event. The Sheridan Press

- ➤ On July 10, 2025, officials from the Chamber, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the City of Sheridan held a ribbon cutting for Mill Park and a section of Little Goose Creek along Dow and Lewis Street — a project that restored stream habitat and improved aquatic connectivity. - ➤ Sheridan County Commissioners held a public hearing on the proposed Penrose County Road as explained by Deputy County Attorney Clint Beaver who served as the Hearing Officer. Some speakers and Wyoming Game & Fish representatives supported the road but raised concerns about speed limits, parking, and maintenance — the commission closed the hearing without taking action.
