- ➤ Secretary of State Chuck Gray responded to a voter registration lawsuit as legal teams led by Harmeet Dhillon and Marc Elias prepare to defend Wyoming’s new proof-of-citizenship law—Wyoming purged 28 percent of voters from its 2022 rolls, and future elections will require compliance with the updated rules. Equality State Policy Center’s Jenny Desarro said the group is waiting for a judge’s decision on a preliminary injunction as the case continues. Wyoming News Now
- ➤ Sheridan County Commissioners approved Amendment B to the joint EMS agreement with the county, the City of Sheridan and Wyoming Regional EMS, LLC—County Administrative Director Cameron Duff said the county’s budget remains unchanged this fiscal year while covering a $200,000 ambulance cost in FY 2027. - ➤ Sheridan County Commissioners will meet tomorrow at 9 a.m. in the courthouse board room to consider a federal grant application through the Transportation Alternatives Program + review a retail liquor license transfer, a preliminary plat for Outlaw Commercial Park Subdivision, a report on Penrose County Road, and a contract with the Wyoming Department of Health for the Community Service Block Grant program for 2025-2029.
