  • Sheridan’s Civic Theatre Guild will begin its 70th season this fall with a production of 'Twelve Angry Men'—a play that examines a jury's deliberation in a murder trial. Auditions will be held at the Carriage House Theatre at 419 Delphi Ave. on July 15 and 16 from 6—8 p.m., with performances scheduled for Sept. 12—14, 19—21, and 26—28.  Sheridan Media

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • The Sheridan County Conservation District hosted Facing the Fire Workshop and Field Day in March, where about 80 local landowners and experts—through panel talks and field visits—discussed wildfire impacts and preparedness at sites affected by the 2020 Waddle Creek Fire and this year's Badger Creek Fire.  Sheridan Media

  • Sheridan residents oppose the planned sale of public lands because they say the lands are a key part of what makes Wyoming unique — they urge officials to keep them protected for the future.  The Sheridan Press
  • Sheridan County Sheriff Levi Dominguez cautioned residents on Public Pulse that fireworks will be allowed beginning July 1 but must follow strict rules that ban displays within 50 feet of occupied buildings and on public roads—deputies will increase patrols to enforce these rules this summer.  Sheridan Media
