- ➤ Local organizations in Sheridan are rallying for an annual flag placement effort to honor fallen veterans, led by Veterans Affairs Health Care System’s Kristina — a longstanding tradition that unites community members. The Sheridan Press
- ➤ Volunteers are asked to meet at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 5 (at Scott Bicentennial Park in Dayton) to help remove nearly one mile of old barbed wire fence along the Freezeout Stock Driveway northwest of Dayton; work may continue on Saturday, June 6 if needed. City of Sheridan
- ➤ The Sheridan Recreation District is hosting the grand opening of the newly renovated Kendrick Pool on Sunday, June 7 from noon to 7 p.m. and the free event will feature raffles, giveaways, and a sensory tent (hosted by REACH) sponsored by Bluepeak. Sheridan Media

- ➤ The Brinton Museum announced a new two-day opening weekend format for its Bighorn Rendezvous XI event in July and revealed an artist lineup to attract local art lovers. Attendees can look forward to a fresh cultural experience at the museum. The Sheridan Press
- ➤ Innominate Coffeehouse & Bakery is set to host Nashville duo Goldpine for an evening of harmony-driven Americana music on Jun. 13 at 7 p.m. at its venue. The Sheridan Press
- ➤ Donna’s Dance Academy held rehearsals on Thursday, May 28 at the WYO Performing Arts and Education Center. Friday shows at 6 p.m. for younger dancers and 8 p.m. for older dancers occurred, and the same schedule will continue today. Sheridan Media

- ➤ Big Horn Baseball Club said construction crews will break ground on the Big Horn Recreation and Early Learning Center this summer — a project aimed at boosting local early learning and recreation. The Sheridan Press
- ➤ The PTO held a ribbon cutting for a shed at Henry A. Coffeen School on May 28 that now stores carnival games, crafting supplies, and more. - ➤ Nubs BBQ visited Meadowlark Elementary in Sheridan, where fifth graders took part in a Build Your Own Food Truck project—integrating math, design, writing and art. The Sheridan Press

- ➤ The Bighorn National Forest Service announced a construction project on Red Grade Road/Big Goose Road 26, set to start the week of June 15. Temporary closures will affect traffic Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 6 p.m. Sheridan Media

- ➤ At a recent hospital board meeting, Director of Nursing JoAnn Kay reported that Amie Holt Care Center has 38 residents (occupancy at 80.91% with an average stay of 690.51 days) and noted staffing improvements while planning to install WanderGuard BLUE in early June. City of Sheridan
