- ➤ Jentel Presents will showcase May’s new cohort of residents by featuring artists and writers from Wyoming and beyond, including Kristin Hugo from Kemmerer and others from Laramie, Salt Lake City, Brooklyn, Owensboro, and Pittsburgh. - ➤ The Sheridan County School District 1 Board of Trustees will vote on the future of the Big Horn community center project at its meeting on June 10 + community members will learn how the decision may shape local resources. The Sheridan Press
- ➤ Phorge Makerspace—which is at 1205 Broadway—has invited local girls to join Girls Who Code and learn computer coding skills. Executive director Penny Siettmann said the club will give young women the training and resources needed for future computer science careers, and she shared the news on Public Pulse. Sheridan Media

- ➤ Sheridan County Commissioners awarded three $1,000 scholarships to local high school students, with Aubrey Butler, Levi Mendenhall and McKenna Smith each getting $500 per semester at the University of Wyoming or a Wyoming Community College—announced by Commission Chairman Lonnie Wright. - ➤ The Sheridan City Council approved a request to subdivide property on Dovetail Lane in north Sheridan during their Monday night business meeting. City Planner Kelly Schroeder said the Riverstone Park Phase Two Subdivision will create 39 lots with 37 for single-family homes and 2 for commercial and mixed use, add an extension of Dovetail Lane and a new Timberland Drive, and include a cul-de-sac (Kearny Court).
