- ➤ Numbers from Q4 2024 released by the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services showed that Sheridan County added 224 jobs and increased payroll by $10,470,492—while Johnson County lost 23 jobs despite a payroll rise, with gains in sectors like construction, local government, manufacturing, retail, and agriculture offsetting losses in accommodation and food services. - ➤ At Fort Phil Kearny on May 18th, a new Interpretive Center that highlights the landscape as its main artifact hosted a ribbon cutting attended by about 150 people including Governor Mark Gordon and state parks officials—guests later toured the fort's grounds and enjoyed refreshments.
