- ➤ A federal prosecutor said a Sheridan woman's claim that her son, convicted felon William Lowery, stole her guns before fatally shooting Sgt. Nevada Krinkee during a two-day standoff in February 2024 is flawed because records show she sold the guns to a friend who died before the sale date + additional firearms found with him raise questions about his acquisition, officials said.
