AARP Wyoming is accepting nominations for its 2026 Andrus Award for Community Service, which honors 50+ Wyomingites who share their skills to benefit the community.

The Odd Couple female adaptation stars Chelsea Bestram and Valeri Hovland, with co-director Kathrine Lundberg stressing the strong chemistry between the leads + performances are scheduled for May 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 29 and 30 with matinees May 17 and 31 at the Carriage House Theater on the Trail End State Historic Site.

On Saturday, May 16 at 1 p.m. the Sheridan Community Land Trust will lead a guided walking tour of the Railroad Historic District starting at Grinnell Plaza — the free tour covers a ¾ mile route that highlights local rail history and advises comfortable shoes and water.

The Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum in Buffalo will host a talk on Nellie Tayloe Ross on Wednesday, May 20 at 5 p.m. in the Carriage House—Rick Ewig, a former history instructor, will lead the presentation.

Sheridan County YMCA still has spots open in its summer camps for both full+half day sessions that keep kids active and learning.

Sheridan High School recognized Jane Buell as Classified Staff of the Year — her expert skills and organization earned praise from Principal Scott Cleland, who called her the school’s heartbeat for the district.
