- ➤ On Saturday, residents cleaned up trash as they disposed up to one ton of waste per visit at the landfill free of charge and received a seedling tree from Landon’s Greenhouse Nursery and Landscaping. CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ In May 1889 the Ladies’ Aid Society staged a broom drill at Coffeen’s hall where women performed military maneuvers with brooms and dust pans. The event drew a full house and raised about $35 for charity — a memorable moment in local history. Sheridan Media
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ On April 30, a SKYWARN Storm Spotter Training was held by Sheridan County Emergency Management in partnership with the University of Wyoming Extension and the National Weather Service to teach residents how to identify severe weather and report events + the two-hour course used slides and videos on storm safety.
