- ➤ The Sheridan County YMCA is looking for active—fun-loving male camp counselors to join its team for the upcoming summer camp season after last year's shortfall with female counselors. - ➤ Friends of the Library is hosting its annual book sale at the Johnson County Library with over 150 large print books, DVDs, and more available for purchase; the sale runs today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.—and will continue tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. City of Sheridan

- ➤ The Johnson County School Board approved procurement requests at a recent meeting+ the projects include two bell and intercom systems, repairs to a school boiler, the purchase of Chromebooks and shot clocks, a gym floor refinish, and an allocation for a CORE Learning Inc. program totaling just over $1.54 million. - ➤ The Wyoming Department of Transportation said there were no significant changes this week on the Buffalo Main Street project due to weather, and the Fort Street traffic signal was turned back on on Thursday while the right turning lane near City Hall and The Occidental remains closed. Paving will begin from Fort Street to Parmalee Street on Tuesday, May 6 (weather permitting) as flaggers and stop signs manage traffic at the busy Hart Street intersection. Sheridan Media
