- ➤ George Ostrom was a pioneer artist remembered in Sheridan for creating the bucking horse logo and leaving behind hidden drawings that capture scenes from World War I and Wyoming wildlife—an artistic legacy his family is now sharing on a new website. - ➤ Museum Director Sylvia Bruner will discuss her new book 'The Wyoming Bomber Crash of 1943' today at 6:30 p.m. at the Carriage House during the Johnson County Historical Society’s meeting—she will review how 41 heavy bombers were lost in June, including a B-17 with 10 young men found two years later, and offer a look at the updated Bomber Mountain exhibit if time permits.
