- ➤ Sheridan resident Cody McCalla, 34, was sentenced for involuntary manslaughter on Monday after pleading no contest to punching Patrick Mudd during a parking dispute at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds—he received a 4 to 6-year prison term with credit for four days served and was ordered to pay $275 in court costs and $4,063 in restitution.
