- ➤ On April 5th, the Sheridan County YMCA announced it was seeking active and fun camp counselors for summer camps that will offer nearly full-time work for roughly six weeks. - ➤ Sheridan WYO Rodeo officials announced that new rough stock chutes and back pens were added to change the Indian Relay Races at this year’s rodeo—set for July 9-12. Tickets will go on sale Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.—at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall. City of Sheridan

- ➤ Students at A-C High School attended a Hang Up and Drive program on April 5th where speakers Steve Johnson and Jacy Good shared personal experiences and facts about the dangers of using cell phones while driving. The event aimed to educate students on safe driving practices. City of Sheridan
- ➤ At its annual retreat on March 29th, the Sheridan County School District No. 2 Board approved Isaac VanDyke as the new principal of Meadowlark Elementary School. He will begin service on August 4th—after serving as a teacher and coach at Sheridan High School. Sheridan Media

- ➤ The Sheridan City Council will consider the third and final reading of Ordinance 2287 at their business meeting Monday night at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, which will add heavy industrial uses to the M1 zoning district + create an M2 zoning district for light and heavy industrial uses without a Special Exemption; the Council will also review a resolution for exemptions on current heavy industrial properties and receive updates on trails and code compliance.
