- ➤ Sheridan Recreation District launches spring and summer programs with registration opening in early April. Youth sports, swim lessons, fitness classes and summer camps for ages 6 to 12 will be held at local sites including Thorne-Rider Park and Kendrick Pool. City of Sheridan
- ➤ Sheridan Recreation District supervisors McKoy Feland and Alexander Mock will host a Co-Create presentation on outdoor recreation at the Fulmer Public Library (Tuesday, April 14 at 5:30 p.m.). The event will explain local programs and invite community input. City of Sheridan
- ➤ Local businesses, artists and elementary school students are teaming up with the ‘Peep Dreams’ partnership to add a burst of spring color to Easter week in Sheridan despite the chilly weather. The event is one of several community activities planned to brighten the holiday. The Sheridan Press

- ➤ The Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum in Buffalo will host a presentation on a local aviator. Sylvia Bruner will share his achievements and community influence on Monday, Apr. 6 at the Carriage House at the museum at 6:30 p.m. (free to attend). City of Sheridan
- ➤ The Brinton Museum opens its 2026 season in the Northern Trust Gallery with an exhibition showing the work of wood carvers Roger Haight and Don Johnson — experienced local artists. The free opening reception is on Friday, April 3 from 5 to 7 p.m., featuring light refreshments. City of Sheridan
- ➤ Ye Olde Bronc Players from WYO PLAY will present an abridged version of Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors at 7 p.m. on April 9 and 10 at Sheridan Junior High School (SJHS). The production, directed by Heather Bujans, features 21 students. City of Sheridan

- ➤ Sheridan College will host its Annual Student Juried Exhibition on Saturday, April 4 at 4 p.m. in the Edward A. Whitney Gallery at the Whitney Center for the Arts, where art students display their work, the community votes for a People’s Choice Award, and refreshments are provided. City of Sheridan

- ➤ The Chamber of Commerce hosted a legislative wrap-up breakfast this week where lawmakers updated on the March 11 budget session, and former State Senator Kinskey questioned the Wyoming Business Council funding cut—Senate President Bo Biteman said the $9.9 billion budget provides $12 to $14 million for one-year operations.
