- ➤ Rancher Don Roberts opened a 3-mile Soldier Ridge Trail west of Sheridan after the Community Land Trust requested a public hiking path — hundreds now use the trail as community members help manage and protect the views, and Roberts donated 544 acres to support conservation efforts.
