Rancher Don Roberts opened a 3-mile Soldier Ridge Trail west of Sheridan after the Community Land Trust requested a public hiking path — hundreds now use the trail as community members help manage and protect the views, and Roberts donated 544 acres to support conservation efforts.

Clearmont Historical Center has opened its 6th annual quilt show at the museum with about 70 quilts including family heirlooms, new fabrics, and pieces by junior quilters from the Buffalo Quilt Gals.
