- ➤ The Sheridan Advocacy and Resource Center and Compass Center for Families received grants from the Sheridan Community Foundation on Dec. 18 to expand services and resources. The funding is set to strengthen community support locally. The Sheridan Press

- ➤ Tickets for the 96th annual Sheridan WYO Rodeo will go on sale Saturday, March 28 at 12:00 p.m. at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall, with online sales starting Saturday, March 30 at 6:00 a.m.; only purchase tickets through the official website to ensure their authenticity. - ➤ Buffalo Mayor Shane Schrader spoke on Sheridan Media's Public Pulse about Johnson County tourism, as a recent report showed about $1.2 million earned in 2024. - ➤ SCSD#1 Board of Trustees met on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at the Central Office in Ranchester; Chairman Clint Krumm thanked Executive Secretary Wanda Orchard for hanging a new plaque, and TRMS principal Russ Wilde discussed winter reading competitions (the facilities plan was tabled) while Superintendent Dr. Jeff Jones noted an upcoming budget session.
