- ➤ Tickets for the 96th annual Sheridan WYO Rodeo will go on sale Saturday, March 28 at noon at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall + online sales will begin Monday, March 30 at 6:00 a.m. on the official website only. Sheridan Media
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The WYO Theater Foundation received a grant from the Sheridan-Johnson Counties Local Board of the Wyoming Community Foundation & the fall cycle supported local theater production and education. Director Erin Butler noted the grant was applied for under the Foundation’s own name. Sheridan Media
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Sheridan County Airport recorded 60,339 passengers in 2025, a 6.3 percent increase from twice-daily Sky West flights to Denver. Airport manager Robert Gill said the June schedule and extra Thanksgiving flights boosted travel and helped draw more visitors to Sheridan (with parking and taxiway upgrades underway). Sheridan Media

- ➤ On Feb. 16, the Senate Education Committee voted on amendments to Senate File 81 – K-12 Public School Finance-2 that increased the average teacher salary. The move is part of ongoing steps to boost funding for K-12 public education. The Sheridan Press
- ➤ The Brinton Museum is hosting the All Schools 5th Grade Student Art Show through March 2. The exhibition welcomes local students, families and educators. The Sheridan Press
