- ➤ Over 100 years ago, Sheridan community leaders and state officials discussed a proposal to raise the gasoline tax to 3-cents for better road repairs and construction. The debate — which addressed funding differences for state and county roads — showed how increasing automobile use led to tougher road funding. Sheridan Media
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Sheridan Memorial Hospital and its foundation will host Building a Mental Health Collaborative at Sheridan College on Wednesday, Feb. 11 to offer panel discussions and workshops, and the event will conclude with a keynote by Dr. Eric Arzubi at 5:30 p.m. in the Whitney Academic Center atrium. - ➤ On Saturday at Whitney Rink at M&M's Center, the Sheridan Hawks hosted Yellowstone Quake. Lucas Paliwodzinski pushed a defending player — a move that energized the game. City of Sheridan
