  • Trainers are invited to submit course proposals for the IGNITE Conference scheduled for May 19, with proposals due by close of business Feb. 13, as the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce seeks innovative ideas for business growth.   • Sheridan College presents an artist talk and opening reception for the exhibition Yield by fiber artist Kimberly English today at the Whitney Center for the Arts. The free event starts with a talk at 4 p.m. and a reception at 5 p.m.  Sheridan Media

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Sheridan County School District #2 is hosting a legislative conversation on February 10 at 6 p.m. in the Commons Room at Sheridan Junior High School + residents can learn about proposed bills affecting public schools.  City of Sheridan
  • Tom Kelly, the Sheridan lawmaker and college professor, announced he is running for Superintendent of Public Instruction and will file his candidacy this month while focusing on his current duties until the March budget session. HEALTH NEWS
