- ➤ The Homer and Mildred Scott Foundation is advancing the Bridges development project to support nonprofits, education programs & public use in Sheridan County today. Construction and site improvements continue, with roadway safety upgrades scheduled to finish by October. Sheridan Media
- ➤ The new Bighorn Trails Coalition will host a meet and greet this Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Black Tooth Brewing Company to share its plans for building trails — the nonprofit earned its 501(c)(3) status in late 2025. Sheridan Media
- ➤ The WYO Winter Rodeo hosts its annual Family Sled Day on Jan. 31 from 10 a.m. on Kendrick Mansion's east lawn + Trail End Historic Site, where families will enjoy sledding and community fun. The Sheridan Press
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Vitamin String Quartet will perform pop arrangements Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. at the WYO Performing Arts and Education Center. The concert features adaptations of songs by Billie Eilish, BTS, Taylor Swift and Daft Punk, along with Sheridan native violinist Wynton Grant. Sheridan Media
- ➤ Museum at the Bighorns updated its progress on facility improvements on Public Pulse today; Director Carrie Edinger and Manager Chip King said construction and new operating procedures will lead to admission charges + expanded membership benefits once exhibits are complete. Sheridan Media

- ➤ The Sheridan College Rodeo Banquet will be held Saturday, March 7 at the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome on campus, featuring dinner, live and silent auctions, and music by Pillage People. Tickets cost $85 per person or $680 per table (all proceeds support student rodeo athlete scholarships). Sheridan Media
- ➤ JT Grainger, a Forty under 40 honoree, leads Sheridan Pilots 307 in expanding aviation education. The Sheridan Press met with him last Monday to discuss new opportunities for local pilots. The Sheridan Press

- ➤ Sheridan Hawks U19 played Gillette at M&M's Center on Saturday, Jan. 24; Abbi Gold scored a goal & her teammates cheered. The match showcased local talent and energized community youth sports. City of Sheridan
- ➤ The Sheridan County Sportsmen's Association held its silhouette shoot at its indoor range (SCSA) on Saturday, Jan. 24. A local shooter used his semi-automatic rifle to hit a silhouette paper target. Sheridan Media
