- ➤ AARP of Wyoming announced today on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse that its Community Challenge grant program is doubling its investment with over $8 million available nationwide. - ➤ Two helicopters collided Monday at 9:10 a.m. (NTSB reports) near Parkman during a Wyoming Game and Fish mule deer capture operation, causing substantial damage but no injuries. Cowboy State Daily

- ➤ Wyoming met a new law’s requirement by buying $10 million in gold on Dec. 19, with the 2,312 ounces now held securely at the Wyoming Reserve in Casper. State Sen. Bob Ide said the move shields state funds from inflation despite costing over $4 million in potential gains. Cowboy State Daily
- ➤ At the Sheridan City Council meeting on January 22, 2026, Uprising Executive Director Terri Markham read a proclamation naming January Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Month.
