- ➤ Downtown Sheridan Association announced a spring art event that will take place in downtown businesses during the weeks leading up to Easter Sunday, April 5, featuring PEEPS marshmallow candy art provided by local groups + residents will have a chance to meet the artist behind their favorite display. - ➤ Katie Mitchell’s fifth-grade class from Coyote Ridge Elementary placed sixth in Codementum’s 2025 International Coding Competition — a global contest held in Cheyenne. The result highlights local students’ coding skills in a challenging international event. Wyoming Tribune Eagle
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Wyoming Game and Fish report that Story Hatchery finished fall spawning in October, collecting over 2.7 million trout eggs. Hatchery staff cleaned and sorted eggs through November and December and shipped eyed-eggs to local and interstate facilities for stocking in Wyoming waters (some eggs were traded for species not raised locally). HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Sheridan veteran Rick Davis, who survived a 2021 misdiagnosed stroke, now lives sober and works in local deliveries while pursuing his insurance license—hoping improved emergency training can help prevent similar incidents.
