CULTURE NEWS

  • SAGE Community Arts will host its 11th Annual Black and White Photography Exhibition on Jan. 20 after reopening from a delayed flooring installation caused by a shipping error, with a reception and awards presentation scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 29; the exhibition will remain on display until Mar. 7.  Sheridan Media
  • Valor Academy students rehearsed for their play 'The Tragic Comedy of Julia Caesar' at the WYO Performing Arts & Education Center on Wednesday, Jan. 14. Carson Norling played Mark Antony in a rehearsal that set the stage for upcoming performances.  Sheridan Media

  • Sheridan College’s Sage Mueller was named one of four winners of the Coca-Cola tuition giveaway, a scholarship to help cover tuition costs, officials said.  The Sheridan Press

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • At a December meeting, members of the local NSDAR chapter honored SCLT with the National Conservation Award for nearly 19 years of conservation, stewardship and public education work in Sheridan County, including the Big Goose Natural Area.
